WhirleyGirl Designs History...

• 2000 - Amanda opens a muraling business and begins painting the world one wall at a time in Cleveland, Ohio

• 2002 - Relocation to Naperville, Illinois where she currently serves the Chicago area

• 2006 - Amanda's unique hand-painted childrens' room accessories become available to order online. People throughout the world rejoice!

Amanda spent her youth in Chicago and Rochester before attending Kent State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Crafts. Soon after graduation, she began painting murals for friends in her free time. After seeing the smiles spread across the faces of her friends as they viewed their finished murals, she recognized that WhirleyGirl Designs was her calling, and has been creating art ever since.

In her own words:

"I LOVE what I do! I love playing with all the wonderful colors of each tube of paint. I love watching my brush transform a plain white surface into a colorful creation, and I love meeting all sorts of new people during the process."
